The academy
Brazilian jiu-jitsu as a way to grow, on and off the mat
At Kaizen, we are committed to teaching Brazilian jiu-jitsu as a way to develop and improve physical, mental, and social skills of our students.
The jiu-jitsu that we practice daily and that we teach is in a state of perennial evolution and improvement. It is deeply rooted in the teaching we had the unique privilege to receive from Grand Master Flavio Behring, whose example we follow and whose teaching we are committed to perpetuating.
People of nationalities have trained at Kaizen.

Classes are held on at the VUB dojo, from to . During that period there is no class during the school breaks of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation (autumn, winter, carnival, and spring): the Saturdays concerned are listed below. Trial classes for kids take place on the other Saturdays.

The name
Kaizen: change for the better
Kaizen is the Japanese term for "improvement". The term is associated with a business philosophy that demands all employees of a company be committed to the continuous improvement of the organization, processes, services, products, etc.
We chose the name Kaizen because improvement is our goal, and we ask our students to embrace this philosophy and pursue their own improvement continuously.
